Happy Thanksgiving y'all!

So we've been to Hawai'i since my last post, it was absolutely wonderful! We stayed on O'ahu on the Leeward side, in a city called Ko'Olina. Although the property was beautiful, we found ourselves driving up to the Windward side everyday. That's where O'ahu's real beauty is kept! This pic is of the Ko'olau mountain range in the Windward side. When it rains heavily each one of those crevasses becomes a waterfall!

This is where we stayed, Marriott's Ko'Olina Beach Resort. Like I said before, it was good for what it was, but if you're in Hawai'i and in your room, you better be sleeping or staging your next public appearance!

There are 4 or 5 of those lagoons that lead out to the ocean. Just beyond the rocks you see at the lower right, there is a breaking wall that keeps the big waves at bay.

Each morning Lexi and I were yanked from sleep with cries of "Let's go to the beach! I want to swim in the ocean!" On a side note, we had no problem accommodating their request.☺

We didn't have anything planned for a couple of the days, so we went on walks by the beach. Before each walk, we'd tell our kids that "We are NOT going to get wet." as you can see, that sentence rarely had the impact we thought it would.

It was nice to see our kids take to the ocean so naturally, even better was the feeling I got when I explained that our people came from that same ocean many, many years ago. I don't know if they completely grasped the concept, but it made me feel good!

Each night we were blessed with the most fabulous sunsets we've ever seen! Seeing these types of things made me think, "No wonder Polynesians are so damn cool!☺"

Lexi, has already started planning our next trip out there. Frankly, I can't wait! Seeing how our kids enjoyed the Pacific Ocean made me think about a possible transfer with Marriott... Will anything come of it? Who knows, the best suggestion is the same one my sister often uses to tell us we're being too antsy, "Just wait and we'll see what the tide brings in."

Can I offer you a penny for your thoughts? As a matter of fact, how ‘bout three, one penny for you, one penny for me and one penny for our minds engaged not so sexually; getting intimately closer as we approach the climactic altitude of a new mental sensational conversation. ‘Cause I’m trying to get to know everything about you from your neck… up.

These are not your typical sexual poetic pros; I’m trying to close the door of that all too familiar freaky foreplay game with which most people have chose to approach you. While they’re trying to get deeply embedded in the fine fibers of your bed sheets, I’m trying to find and define the fibers with which your mind speaks.

I wanna engage you by putting a two carat diamond on your mind and marrying your every thought. I want to lick every inch of every crevasse so I can get an oral fix from each orifice and taste your passionate imagination.

I’d rather be naked and exposed holding you as we’re lying and you’re crying, walking, finding and describing the tough times you had in life and how you don’t know if you can keep a relationship long enough to be somebody’s wife.

I wanna feel the heart beat of all your inter-rhythms as they lead me toward your warm wet waterfalls of feminine thoughts and I’ll swim within them from back-strokes to breast-strokes I’m penetrating every entrance to your mind, taking my time to find out everything about you.

Did I ever tell you about how you fell asleep in my presence and your mere essence kept me up for hours? As I coward with this feeling of a sexually unadulterated mental connection and as you lay by my side; I pushed the blinds aside and took the time in the moonlight of that night to count 72 eyelashes on the upper eyelid of your right eye.

So now I’m standing here ready for the chance to reform the very foundation and basis of our relationship. And I reiterate my opening statement and I offer you another penny for your thoughts.

Our Tax Deductions

This is our first "patience tester" Sunia Z. "Bubba". As you may or may not know, he was born at 26 weeks gestation (for any men reading this, that's 3 months premature... still need help... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_pregnancy) He's 4 years old now and just finished his first year of t-ball.



He loves the Power Rangers, noodles and moving 100 m.p.h.! If you don't believe me, babysit... then you'll see what I mean!



He's full of energy and very protective of his Mom and sister. He's definitely a mama's boy, but most of the good ones are!




Here's number two in our brood, Miss 'Anau M. K. "Naui". Unlike her brother, she was 3 days OVER due. She's a crazy little girl that likes singing, dress up, eating and copying her brother.

Also unlike her brother, she's pretty slow motion. She's really laid back and just wants to see what the tide brings in, then she'll decide what she wants to do.

She loves her uncle Hola allot! When he's around, she's right there with him. Not too many people get that privilege.

May I present... Miss Sweetness (named after Walter Payton)

This is my baby! We adopted her when she was about 7 months old. She is also an American Pitbull Terrior, once again don't let that scare you... MAN THE HELL UP! ☺

Ladies and Gentlemen... Mr. Flex

This is Lexi's little ball of fur. He's three months in this picture, but now he's 6 months old and going through those awkward teenage years so no pictures please... ha ha ha ha. He is an American Pitbull Terrior, don't let that scare you. He's more likely to lick you to death. His mother was taken to the humane society, but little did they know, she was pregnant. When we got him, they called him Dozer, but that name sux! He's the biggest lap-dog in the free world☺

2 years to Eternity

Well, Lexi became my bride on August 2, 2002. We have a son that was born in May of 2003 (yup, didn't waste any time at all☺) and our daughter was born in November of 2005.

We met in high school, but our relationship was simply "Do I know you? Anyway, bye..." you know that type of thing. A few years later we met up again. She was working at Fred Meyers and, well, I needed a light bulb. We ended up talking for 4 hours of her shift (good thing her boss wasn't around, I'd have to kick him for blockin'!) Before I left, I gave Lexi my phone number. Completely expecting at least one missed call by the time I got to my car. But no dice, she didn't call me for a couple days.

Not to be defeated, I tracked her down. Some say it's borderline stocking, I call it... relentlessness☺! Well, I asked her out and she accepted (partly out of pitty I'm sure.) But we've been together ever since.

We dated for couple years before we got married, then we had our little monsters Sunia and 'Anau.

We just bout our first house in December 2006, and now we live in Layton, Utah...
